2nd Half of May 2024
Well, its the last day of May already!! I feel like the last few weeks have gone by really fast. Work has been extremely busy as we are working to onboard some new publications that we have recently purchased. This is a fairly laborious repetitive process and takes a long time especially when the information is fresh and changing as things are worked out.
Hopefully in the next few weeks we will be finished with that effort, and everyone will be able to book those papers in our systems.
I also have done some work on the blog, so now if you want you can subscribe and receive any new blog posts in your inbox!
Other than work things have been ticking along alright, last night I had the opportunity to talk about my recent Philippines trip, a post about that will be up on Monday.
The main exciting thing we have done over the past few weeks is to visit the Donkeys at Highfield Garden Reserve in Algies Bay. Currently there is a baby(ish) donkey that is really cute!
We like to vist them semi frequently, and then also head out to Scandrett Regional Park which is just around the corner - its got a rugged beach which I like more than the typical beaches that you swim at.
Below some photos that we took while we were there, most taken by Christine

Below are some other random photos that I took around the place in the last few weeks. The sky has been really colourful this week, and the colours of the leaves are also so bright!

Last weekend we decided to go see if we could get my wedding ring re-sized... I have not worn it for MANY years due to it being too small for my fingers.
We chatted with the people at one of the jewellery stores, and they took a look at my ring, and advised it twas too thin to resize to the size I needed it to be. It also has an engraving in it that would be ruined if it was resized.
So instead we opted to purchase a new wedding ring, and they had it in the right size etc, so I now have a wedding ring that fits which is quite exciting. Its been a running joke this week that we got married last week 🤣
I think thats about all thats been happening, the next three days are a long weekend here - I am looking forward to getting some extra sleep.
