2nd Week of May 2024
The 2nd week of May started off as any normal working week would. I worked from the offica ll week - it was a fairly busy week (as most weeks are).
Nathan is doing business studies at school and they need some capital to start their businesses, so we have a letter from his school that we can had out to businesses to see if they can give anything for a raffle.

On Friday I had a half day, because we had an appointmnet to go to in the afternoon. After I finished work, I picked up Christine from her work, and we headed off to Henderson for our appointment.
After the appointment we went to the mall where we had a late lunch, and hung out for a bit cos Christine had another appointment at 6pm to get her nails done.
While Christine was gettting her nails done, I chilled on the couch, listened to music and wrote letters to the two children I sponsor.
On Saturday I helped move some cabinets from my sister in law's storage locker back to our house. The cabinets were originally made about 30 years ago, for a house that Christine's parents used to live in, and they've been in my sister in laws house till recently when she sold her house.
We put one cabinet in the van, and the other on Christine's Dad's 1928 Model A Ford C cab Pickup. If you wana check out this vintage car you can see a video we made a few years back below.
After we sorted out the cabinets, Christine and I headed out to Hamilton to drop something off that we had sold. Afterwards we stopped at The Base for a very late lunch - picked up a mothers day present for Christine's mum before we headed back home. On the way home we noticed the GPS was doing weird things, and put that down to the recent solar activity.

On Sunday 12th May it was Mothers day. For mothers day we got Christine some perfumes, and had pizza for dinner. In general we didn't do too much, so it was fairly relaxing.
Over the weekend we also had the amazing opportunity to see the Aurora in Auckland. This was caused by the recent solar activity! We were able to see it with our naked eye, but when using the phone and doing long exposure shots you could see it much better.
