Well its been a while since I've done an update - My goal was still do do one a month - lets see if we can get back to that! I can't believe that I have not done any updates in 3 months!
To be honest it's quite hard to remember what has happened in the past 3 months, which is why I wanted to write monthly while things are still fresh on my mind. I will try recall some of it, but mostly will be reminded by photos that I've taken, and TBH I do not take many photos!
Medical
Between Christine, Nathan and myself we've had plenty of medical related things to keep us busy! Some that come to mind are:
- 'Normal' doctor visits for repeat prescriptions etc
- Unexpected visit to after hours cos Nathan dropped a weight on his foot
- A 24 hour hospital visit
- Various appointments at different places to try find help to relieve the symptoms of Christines (semi) recent diagnoses
Hamilton
It seems that we've been to Hamilton a few times over these three months... We've discovered a place thats not too expensive to grab a late lunch or early dinner before heading back home called Foundation Bar & Kitchen The food is nice and not too expensive. They give you a little tablet that you can order what you'd like from your table.

School Ball & Date Night
Nathan went to the school Ball at the end of July - while he was at the school ball Christine and I used the opportunity to go out for dinner. We went to Baci at Sylvia park. It was a bit more upmarket than we are normally accustomed to! The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the evening!

Work
Work seems to be going well - its very busy in the department that I am working in. From time to time it feels like we can start doing some of the lesser priority items but then the next urgent thing comes along and the less urgent stuff gets parked. There has been a bit of change at work in recent times - With the stuff that happened over at TV three Stuff is now producing the 6pm news bulletin which is an interesting change from the norm for some of the staff. At this point it hasn't shifted my focus, but I'm always up to learn new stuff 🤣.
Stuff's CEO is also leaving so a change back to the original CEO is on the horizon.
One day in July we had a very bad chemical smell in the office, so we self evacuated and the Fire brigade came and aired out the place
July Visit to the Wairarapa
In the middle of July Nathan, Myself and Holly went down to the Wairarapa for a few days. We drove down on Wednesday and stayed for Thursday/Friday. For a change I decided that I would work on Thur/Fri but realistically that turned out to only half days on those days. My brother was kind enough to let us stay at his place! We had a good time visiting family, here are some photos from that trip.
Baby Shower
Christine was invited to a baby shower for one of her colleagues who is expecting. This was a unique experience from a different culture!

August Excerpts
Judging by my photos there wasn't a lot happening in August... Maybe a few sunny days, we sold some stuff on Trade Me, went down to Hamilton (again). Also a few pics of Holly! We've also been doing University visits with Nathan during August - time is fast approaching where he will need to choose what he wants to do, and which direction he'd like to study.

More Photos
A few random photos from the past few months - Kinda like the ones above, there's no story with these, just like them so thought I'd include them!
